Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur was the start of our trip in South East Asia. We loved it totally. We paid only £53 per person and flew AirAsia, our new favourite. We stayed 3 nights in KL and stayed in a pretty good hostel Sunshine Bedz on Bukit Bintang. The location was in the heart of the city, the upstreet shopping area of KL. We visited the Petronas Towers, KL Tower. We went to the foot of the Petronas & KL but did not climb to the top. We spend a day going to the famous Batu caves and clicked some beautiful pictures. Other regular places we visited were China Town, Little India.

Penang   Georgetown on Penang island is a beautiful place to live, life is slow and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at House Of Journey. When we went trekking to Penang Hill we met there 2 old gentlemen who took us on a hike to get amazing views of Penang.

Langkawi   We flew to Langkawi for £9 one way from Penang, now that is a deal. 🙂 It is a beautiful duty free island thats how I will like to remember. We hired a scooter and explored the whole of island by road, brilliant place to ride, no traffic and nice dense forest.

Melaka (Malacca) The place to loose a track of time. We stayed there and made amazing friends, visited the old town, a sikh temple, night market.

Finally

We will visit Malaysia again to explore the eastern part of Malaysia, for food and for its proximity to Singapore. I am sure in future my work can take me there.
