Japan in 10 Days

Japan in 10 Days

Konnichiwa Japan

Japan by far was the most surprising travel destination we came across. The culture, the food, the people and the technology is so impressive we could not believe we only had such  a short time to indulge in this beauty. We loved and really admired the Japanese etiquettes. In the limited time we had in Japan we wanted to see as much as possible. Travelling in Japan is expensive, especially if you are on a budget. So it makes sense to make use of each day to the fullest so we did.

US West Coast Road Trip

US West Coast Road Trip

Here is a small snippet from our US road trip in Aug 2015. We had mere 9 days in US west coast and wanted to make full use of it. We also realised that the higher the expense of the country, the shorter the stay and faster the travel becomes. US has not been high on our list because in my opinion if a country is wheelchair accessible travelling there can be made any time later in life.

At this point in my life, I wanted to make sure I visited all the places where I am able to use my physical energy to maximum capacity. I wanted to explore places where transportation maybe limited and places where there are no roads or easy access.

It was fortunate for us that our itinerary shaped up the way it did and we got to spend a little time in this vast beautiful country.  Read more

In my 10 months of travelling they are the best souls I have met. So divine, so magical, they could very well be from another magical world.

China – Avatar Mountains of Zhangjiajie

Chine Zhangjiajie Cover

We spent the last few days making our way to the Zhangjiajie National park (China) and explored the famous mountains of Pandora. Until a few weeks ago, I did not know this place existed. I am so fascinated by the natural beauty of this place wishing I could stay here longer. Zhangjiajie as captivating as it was, receives far too many visitors just like many other attractions which ultimately leads to high volume in noise and inconsideration by tour guides can contribute to spoil the spirit of this place. Keeping aside some inconvenience and distractions, this place does deserve a visit. Read more

Hanoi2SaigononMotorcycle

Route – Hanoi to Saigon

Days – 26

Dates – 24 March to 18 March

On the last day, riding 300 km from Dalat to Saigon, we completed our 2300 km+ road trip from Hanoi to Saigon. We arrived in Saigon and crashed in a restaurant to have our lunch/dinner & few beers. It was a wonderful experience to spend the last 26 days on road (more or less) on our bikes. It took us across the length of Vietnam, in the mountains, in the valleys, through cities and some rocky terrain. With no bike troubles we were lucky. Read more
