Fly above the biggest waterfalls, Iguazu Falls, Argentina/Brazil

We visited the Iguazu Falls towards the end of November 2015. We knew these were one of the largest waterfalls but to witness them from up close was truly remarkable. After a 17 hour bus journey from Buenos Aires we arrived at Puerto Iguazu and quickly made our way to the Falls on the Argentina side. You can feel the sheer force of water that flows through such a big river in great intensity.

The Next day we made our way to Brazil. This is where I had planned a surprise helicopter ride for Molly as her belated birthday gift. Four tickets were purchased to ensure the helicopter experience was intimate. You can experience this yourself and I will advice not to book in advance (online and through agents) to get the best deal. The 10 minutes flight over the Iguazu falls was just amazing.

We did it !!
We did it !!

Because of the high level of water we could not do a boat trip but I think we were pretty satisfied with the helicopter ride. We even did not feel the need to go to the Brazilian side of the falls, may be will do it next time. Of all the waterfalls we have seen on this journey and we have seen a few, this one was bigger than all combined. So if you get a chance just go for it.
